- Stretch the chain, e.g. by using the lever action of a screw driver, and tighten the hexagon countersunk bolts with
double nip.
- Mount the chain covering (66) above the chain pinion (26). Fig. 24

Note:
Depending on the length of the assembled chain drive system and on the situation of the
building site, the assembly can either be made on the floor or on the temporarily
suspended chain drive systems.
- Checking:
In the CLOSED position, the sliding carriages of both chain drive systems must be in the dead center lock position.
- Sub-assemble the synchronizing head (67) between the two chain drive systems (23) according to the included
drawing B1-0602-317. Fig. 25

- Connect the chain sides of both chain drive systems (23) with chain joints.
- By means of the tension screws on both sides, adjust an even chain tension and tighten the securing nut.
Attention:
Both sliding carriages must remain in the dead center lock position.
