SECONDARY AIR TUBES

STEP #1
○ Start at the back working forwards by inserting the fi rst then second air tube into the hole in the left side
manifold, as illustrated in "A". Install only the rear two tubes fi rst.
STEP #2
○ Slide the tube towards the right side into the
opposite hole. With the holes on the secondary
air tube pointing forward, align the tube with the
retainer and insert the cotter pin, as illustrated in
"B".

STEP #4
○ Carefully pivot the fi bre baffl es (H) up onto the
rear secondary air tubes as illustrated. Ensure
that the top baffl es are pushed all the way to the
rear of the fi rebox overlapping the rear bricks,
leaving a minimum 2 inch gap along the front.
This will allow the fl ue gases to escape the
fi rebox. Spread the baffl es tight to each side to
ensure there are not gaps, as illustrated.

SIDE VIEW

STEP #3
○ Spread the cotter pin to retain.
STEP #5
○ Continue to install: the front tube points down and
the second tube points down at 45°. Ensure the
holes in the tubes are either pointing forward or
straight down.

FRONT VIEW

STEP #6
○ Insert the cotter pin from the top to allow the
cotter pin head to face the baffl es. This will
ensure the baffl es rest on the secondary air
tubes. Spread the cotter pin to retain.
