Appliance description

The appliance switches on automatically as soon as you open the
hot water valve on the tap. When you close the tap, the appliance
switches off again automatically.
The appliance heats water as it flows through it. You can adjust the
set temperature via the Touch-Display, via the Touch-Wheel or via
the mini wireless remote control. Upwards of a certain flow rate,
the control unit selects the required heating output, subject to the
temperature selected and the cold water temperature .
The instantaneous water heater with full electronic control and
automatic output matching maintains a consistent outlet temper-
ature . The water is heated by the electronic control unit with
motorised valve to precisely the selected temperature. This occurs
regardless of the inlet temperature.
If the appliance is operated with preheated water and the inlet
temperature exceeds the selected temperature, a warning mes-
sage appears on the display . The water is not heated further.
You can store different set temperatures and call them up quickly.
The ECO function limits the flow rate. The appliance has func-
tions for a temperature limit (maximum function (user), dynam-
ic anti-scalding protection and internal anti-scalding protection
(qualified contractor)), as well as wellness shower programs and
automatic water volume control. The backlight switches on auto-
matically as soon as water starts to flow through the appliance, or
you make a change on the user interface or mini wireless remote
control. The backlight switches off automatically if no action is

performed and after water stops flowing (user adjustable switch-
off time).
Prerequisites for the use of extended functions (weather data, in-
ternet radio, Bluetooth ® , app-based operation) with the DHE Con-
nect:

The DHE Connect appliance has an integrated loudspeaker. Alter-
natively, an external Bluetooth
addition, it is also possible to play music from a mobile terminal
device with the integrated loudspeaker in the DHE Connect.
Heating system
The bare wire heating system is enclosed within a pressure-tested
plastic jacket. The heating system with its stainless steel heater
spiral is suitable for hard and soft water areas and is largely in-
susceptible to scale build-up. The heating system ensures rapid
and efficient DHW provision.
