For trouble-free operation, the water should ideally be
in hardness range 1. This avoids any increased scaling in
the appliance. We recommend the installation of a water
softener; see "Accessories" chapter. It will improve the
water's taste, odour and appearance.

Preparations

f Flush the water line thoroughly. f
Water installation
A safety valve is not required.
Taps
f Only use the HOT 3in1 kitchen tap. f
Different taps are not permissible.
Water filter system
f Use the water filter system starter kit; see "Accessories" f
chapter.

Installation site

Install the appliance in a room free from the risk of frost.
f Always install the appliance vertically and near the draw-off f
point.
The appliance is suitable for undersink installation only.
