There are no parts which must be
serviced or lubricated by the user
inside the machine.
13 – Storage and
transportation
Storage
1. Clean the device as described
above.
2. Keep the device in a dry place
which is inaccessible to children.
3. The storage location must be dry
and protected from frost. The
ambient temperature may not
exceed 45 °C.
CAUTION! The storage of
discharged batteries may
lead to a so-called deep
discharge. This ruins the battery
cells and renders the recharge -
able battery useless.
Transport
Use the original packaging for
dispatch, if possible.
1. Switch off the device and remove
the battery.
2. If possible, use the transport
protection.
3. Only carry the device by the
handle.
4. Protect the unit from strong
shocks and vibrations which
can occur during transport with
the car.
5. Protect the device from slipping
and falling over.
14 – Disposal
CAUTION! Electrical and
battery operated units that no
longer work should not be
disposed of in the house hold
waste! They are to be collected
separately, in accordance with the
2012/19/EU directive
for the disposal of
electrical and
electronic waste, and
sent for proper and
environ mentally-
friendly recycling.
Please discard power tools no
longer usable at a local collection
point. Collection and disposal of
packaging materials separately by
types complying with local rules
and regulations. For details,
please contact your municipal
authority concerned.
CAUTION! When it comes to
battery-powered or recharge -
able electronic devices, the
battery/ rechargeable battery
must be removed and disposed
off separately in accordance with
