e Separate the charger from the
power supply and allow to cool
down before cleaning,
maintenance and storage.
f Protect electrical parts from
moisture. Never dip these parts
in water or any other liquids
during the cleaning or operation
to prevent electrical shock. Never
hold the charger under running
water. Please note the instructions
for cleaning and maintenance.
g Keep the charger away from
rain or moisture. Water entering
a charger will increase the risk of
electric shock.
h Only charge the batteries with
chargers that are recommended
by the manufacturer. With a
charger that is designed for use
with a particular type of
rechargeable battery, there is a
risk of fire if it is used with other
rechargeable battery types.
i Do not charge any batteries
which are not compatible with
the charger. The charger is only
designed to be compatible with
the supplied rechargeable battery
and with the voltages specified in
the technical data. Using other
types batteries brings a risk of fire
or explosion.
j Keep the battery charger clean.
Contamination brings a risk of
electric shock.
k Check the charger, cable and
62
plug before each use. Do not
use the charger if you notice
damage. If damage to the
charger and/or the connection
line is noticed, the charger must
be disposed of and replaced
with a charger of the same
type. Damaged chargers, cables
and plugs increase the risk of
electric shock.
l Do not operate the charger on
easily flammable surfaces (e. g.
paper, textiles etc.) or in a
flammable environment, and do
not cover the device. The heat of
the charger generated by the
charging process poses a risk of
fire.
m Fluid may leak from the
rechargeable battery if it is used
incorrectly. Avoid all contact with
this liquid. In the event of
accidental contact, rinse with
water. If liquid should come into
contact with your eyes, seek
medical assistance immediately.
Leaking battery fluid may result in
skin irritations or burns.
n Do not open the battery. There is
the danger of a short-circuit.
o Protect the rechargeable
battery from exposure to heat;
e.g. keep it away from constant
sunlight and fire. There is a risk
of explosion.
p Do not short-circuit the battery.
There is a risk of explosion.
q In the event of damage and
improper use of the battery,
