Cleaning and Maintenance

Note: The EnCor™ GE™ Vertical Adapter is not intended
to be sterilized. For Cleaning Instructions for the EnCor™
Fire Forward Accessory, refer to the EnCor™ Fire Forward
Accessory Instructions for Use.

Manual Cleaning

After each use, immediately clean the EnCor™ GE™ Vertical
Adapter with the steps outlined below.
1. Remove the EnCor™ Fire Forward Accessory (A) from the
EnCor™ GE™ Vertical Adapter (L) using the Thumb Screw
(I). Reference Figure 2.
2. Thoroughly wipe all external surface areas of the EnCor™
GE™ Vertical Adapter (L) with a cleaning wipe (for example,
CaviWipes1 or equivalent cleaning wipe).
3. For the steps mentioned above, ensure all surfaces of the
EnCor™ GE™ Vertical Adapter (L) are wiped continuously
and remain wet with a contact time of 3 minutes minimum.
4. Visually inspect the EnCor™ GE™ Vertical Adapter (L) to
in a well-lit area that has good lighting conditions (e.g
residual contaminants are not present.
