Attaching the EnCor™ GE™ Vertical Adapter to the
EnCor™ Fire Forward Accessory, EnCor™ Breast
Biopsy Driver, and EnCor™ Breast Biopsy Probe
1. Rotate the Dial (H) on the bottom of the EnCor™ Breast
Biopsy Driver (G) to expose the mounting holes. Attach
EnCor™ Breast Biopsy Driver (G) to Driver Bracket (B) by
aligning the Driver Mounting Pins (C) to the EnCor™ Breast
Biopsy Driver (G) and tightening the Driver Mounting Screw
(D). The EnCor™ Breast Biopsy Driver (G) attaches to the
Driver Bracket (B) in only one orientation. Refer to Figure 1.
2. Verify that the EnCor™ Breast Biopsy Driver (G) internal
mounting plate is contacting the shoulders of the Driver
Mounting Pins (C) and Driver Mounting Screw (D). Refer to
Figure 1. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.
3. Assemble the EnCor™ Breast Biopsy Driver (G)/Driver
Bracket (B) to the EnCor™ Fire Forward Accessory (A) by
sliding onto the Driver Rail (E) until it is fully engaged and
locked. Refer to Figure 1.
4. Remove the EnCor™ GE™ Vertical Adapter (L) and Thumb
Screw (I) from packaging and verify that the contents have
not been damaged. Refer to Figure 2.
5. Line up the Alignment Pins (J) of the EnCor™ GE™ Vertical
Adapter (L) with the Alignment Pin Holes (K) on the EnCor™
Fire Forward Accessory (A) spine as shown in Figure 2.
6. Attach the EnCor™ GE™ Vertical Adapter (L) to the bottom
of the EnCor™ Fire Forward Accessory (A) using the Thumb
Screw (I) and tighten. Refer to Figure 2.
7. Verify proper mounting and function by arming and triggering
the EnCor™ Fire Forward Accessory (A).

Use to set up for the EnCor™ Breast Biopsy System. When
programming the needle parameter into the GE™ software
for the EnCor™ GE™ Vertical Adapter (L), use the following:
