10. Selecting the function mode


The buttons " ", " ", " ", " " on the upper side of the weather station and the "ENTER" and "EXIT"
keyes correspond to the keys on the IR remote control.
Thus, the operation of the weather station can also be performed without the IR remote control, apart
from some functions for the digital picture frame (e.g. rotating the image with the "ROTATE" key on the
IR remote control).
Press the "EXIT" button (several times, if required) until the weather station enters the main menu.

With the arrow keys " " or " " the desired function mode can now be selected (function "E" will only be shown in
the display if you press " " again in the function "D").

Using the IR remote control, the 5 function modes are also accessible directly via the keys, without
having to enter the main menu. Just press the associated button (indicated in brackets as follows).
A Photo mode, digital picture frame ("PHOTOS" button)
The display of the weather station is only used as digital picture frame; no weather data will be displayed. In order
to show images in the display, a SD/MMC memory card or a USB stick must be inserted in the weather station
(with containing images in JPG format).
After activation of this mode the slideshow starts automatically. The time for changing the image, the transition
effect, sequence and also the display format can be set in the setup mode.
B Weather station mode ("WEATHER" button)
In this mode the display serves as display of all measuring values (temperature, air humidity, air pressure, air
pressure progress), the display of time and date as well as the weather forecast.
C Combined mode ("WEATHER + PHOTOS " button)
The measuring values for temperature/air humidity as well as time and chart for weather forecast are shown in
the display. In addition, a part of the display is used as digital picture frame. As already described in the photo
mode, a SD/MMC memory card or USB stick with images must be inserted in the weather station!
D Calendar mode ("CALENDAR" button)
In the calendar mode the display shows the calendar of the current month and the time in the upper field.
If a SD/MMC memory card or a USB stick with images are inserted in the weather station, the images appear
at the right of the calendar as slideshow.
E Setup mode ("SETUP" button)
Here, all settings are carried out e.g. manual input of time/date, search for outdoor sensors or DCF signal and
so on.
