m) Alarm Function
Displaying alarm time
• Briefly push the button „ALARM" (5). The upper right of the display shows „ALARM" and the currently set alarm
time.
• After a few seconds without pushing a button, the display switches back to the time display automatically.
Switching the Alarm Function On/Off
• Briefly push the button „ALARM" (5) to display the alarm time, see above.
• Pushing the button „ALARM" (5) again briefly activates or deactivates the alarm function.
• If the alarm function is switched on a bell symbol „
Setting Alarm Time
• Briefly push the button „ALARM" (5) to display the alarm time, see above.
• Keep the „ALARM" (5) button pushed until the hours of the alarm time start to flash.
• Use the button „CHANNEL/+/SEARCH" (3) or „MEM/-" (4) to set the hours of the alarm time. Keep the respective
button pressed for quick adjustment.
• Briefly push the „ALARM" button (5). The alarm time minutes flash.
• Use the button „CHANNEL/+/SEARCH" (3) or „MEM/-" (4) to set the minutes of the alarm time. Keep the respective
button pressed for quick adjustment.
• Briefly push the button „ALARM" (5) to leave setting mode.
Activate Snooze Function or Activate Alarm
When the alarm signal is activated at the set alarm time, the symbol „
• Pushing the button „SELECT/Zz" (1) interrupts the alarm signal for the duration of 10 minutes. During this time, the
symbol „ " continues to flash. Then the alarm signal is started again. This procedure can be repeated several
times.
• Terminate alarm signal by briefly pushing „ALARM" (5). This permits prematurely interrupting/terminating the snooze
function as well.
If you do not manually terminate the alarm signal, it is automatically terminated after approx. 2 minutes.
n) Display Illumination
• If the weather station is supplied with power through the plug-in mains adapter, permanent lighting is activated
automatically.
Pushing the button „SELECT/Zz" (1) for about 3 seconds permits deactivation of the display illumination (e.g. at
night) and activating it again.
• If the weather station is only supplied with power through batteries (plug-in mains adapter not used), the display is
only activated when pushing a button or during the alarm signal. The display illumination goes out automatically after
a few seconds to save power.
To activate the illumination briefly, push the button „SELECT/Zz" (1) briefly.
