15. Setup mode


To activate the setup mode with the IR remote control press the "SETUP" button. For more information
please refer to chapter 10.
a) Basic function
• The keys " " or " " are used to select the corresponding function.
• With the keys " " or " " a setting can be selected or changed.
• When setting the time, date, alarm time and automatice turn on/turn off time the setting value is selected that you
wish to change (e.g. the hours or minutes) using the " " or " " keys. With the buttons " " or " " the selected
setting value can now be changed (e.g. increasing or decreasing the hours value).

With a longer keystroke on the respective arrow key, a quick adjustment is performed.
• Always confirm the setting with the "ENTER" key, otherwise it will not be saved.
b) Language
Set the desired language for the display of the setting menu in the setup mode and for all other display texts in the
display.
You can set "German", "English" and "French".
As already described in chapter 15. a) the selection takes place via the " " button or the " " button. Confirm the
setting with the "ENTER" button; the weather station then changes the language.
c) Slide show duration
Here you can set how long an image will be shown in the photo mode, combined mode or calendar mode. When this
time is over, the next image will be read out from the memory card or the USB stick and shown in the display.
Select the time with keys " " or " " and confirm the setting with the "ENTER" button.
d) Transition effect
When the next image is shown in the photo mode, a random effect may be used for this. You can also permanently
set one of the available effects (e.g. always show image top down) or turn the transition effect off.

The transition effect is only used in the photo mode. In the combined or calendar mode the images will
be changed directly and without effects.
Select the effect with keys " " or " " and confirm the settings with the "ENTER" button.
