16. Replacing the batteries

a) IR remote control
A battery replacement is required if the weather station does not react any longer to the keystrokes and commands
on the IR remote control.
To insert the batteries proceed as described in chapter 9. b).
b) Outdoor sensor
If the display contrast in the display of the outdoor sensor decreases or no display is shown any longer, the batteries
in the outdoor sensor are to be replaced by new ones. A small battery icon might appear in the display if the batteries
are low.

If the weather station does not receive any measuring values from the outdoor sensor any longer, the
weather station only displays bars for the temperature and air humidity value.
Replace the batteries of the outdoor sensor; proceed as described in chapter 9. c).
Following that, perform a manual search for the outdoor sensor; see chapter 15. q).
