11. Photo mode
To activate the photo mode with the IR remote control press the "PHOTOS" button. For more
information please refer to chapter 10.
The display of the weather station is only used as digital picture frame; no weather data will be displayed.
In order to show images in the display, a SD/MMC memory card or a USB stick must be inserted in the weather station
(with containing images in JPG format).
Use either a SD/MMC memory card or a USB stick. Do not insert both memory types in the weather
station at the same time.
Images with high resolutions (e.g. 18 mega pixel in a digital single lens reflex camera) require a high
computing time in order to convert them to the resolution of the display. With the transition effects this
may lead to a jerky display.
It might be of help if you convert the resolution of the images with a suitable software (for example: from
18 mega pixel to 2-3 mega pixel). However, pay attention that you save the converted images under
a different file name or in a different directory - otherwise, the original image will be overwritten and thus
will be lost!
After activation of this mode the slideshow starts automatically. The time interval until the image is changed, the
transition effect, sequence and also the display format can be set in the setup mode (see chapter 15).
With the keys " " or " " you can move to the previous or next image even though the automatic slideshow is
activated.
The "ZOOM" key on the remote control is used to enlarge the currently displayed image. Press the key several times
to select between the zoom levels x2, x4, x8 and x16. Moving the image section is possible by using the arrow keys.
With the "ROTATE" key the image can be rotated in 90° steps.
You can continue the slideshow by pressing the "SLIDESHOW" button on the IR remote control (of course, this will
not work if the manual image display was selected in the setup mode).
