Spray pattern diagnosis
Problem
The spray pattern exhibits
stripes.
The spray pattern exhibits
droplets.
The spray pattern is too nar-
row.

material even after the trig-
ger has been released:
Cause
The diffusor has been installed for an unsu-
itable material.
The diffusor is partially clogged.
The material is unsuitable for the
spray device (to viscose).
Intake or discharge valve is worn out.
The operator is moving the device too
slowly.
The spray device is too close to the surface
being coated.
The trigger remains depressed when chan-
ging spray direction.
Nozzle too large.
The nozzle is closed or damaged.
The spray device is too close to the sur-
face.
Nozzle too small.
The nozzle is closed or damaged.
The spray device is to far away from the
surface.
Nozzle too large.
The nozzle mount has collected excess
material.
The nozzle filter is partially clogged.
The nozzle is not completely screwed onto
the spray device.
The seat is worn out.

Ensure that a suitable material is being
