RISK OF FIRE AND EXPLOSION
Flammable liquid solvent fumes in the work area may explode or ignite. Proceed as follows to reduce fire
and explosion danger:
The spray device creates sparks. Do not use flammable fluids or spray the device with these.
Only use water-based materials or materials featuring a flash point over 38°C.
The spray area must be well-ventilated at all times. The spray area should always be supplied with sufficient
fresh air.
Flammable materials may not be sprayed near any open flames or close to sources of ignition; the device
may also not be rinsed with these materials in such areas.
Paint or solvent flowing through the device may cause a static charge. Static electricity in the presence of
paint or solvent fumes represents a fire or explosion risk. Hold the spray device at least 10 cm away from
objects during spraying or rinsing.
Do not smoke in the spraying area.
Do not actuate or use light switches, motors or similar products that create sparks in the spraying area.
Enaure that the work area remains clean and that no paint or solvent containers or other flammable materi-
als are stored there.
Read and
follow all of the manufacturer's safety instructions.
A functional fire extinguisher must be kept available at all times.
DANGER DUE TO PENETRATION OF MATERIAL INTO SKIN
Coating materials under high pressure can transmit poisons into the body, resulting in severe injuries. If this
material has penetrated the skin, immediate surgical treatment will be necessary.
Never use the device to spray people or animals; never point the spray device at people or animals.
Keep your hands and other body parts away from the spray head. Do not try, for example, to stop spraying
material with any body part.
Always engage the trigger safety lock when you are not spraying. Check to ensure that this safety lock func-
tions without any problems.
Always use the nozzle protector. Never spray without the nozzle protector fitted.
Take care when cleaning and changing nozzles. If the nozzle clogs during spraying, follow the depressuriza-
tion procedure to switch off the device and relieve the pressure before removing the nozzle for cleaning.
