CLUTCH CONTROL LEVER ADJUSTMENT
For the clutch adjustment it's necessary to work on
the cable tension using the register unit placed on
the lever.
- Move the rubber protection (1).
- Loosen the blocking seal (2).
- Work on the register (3), turn it towards the di-
rection indicated by the arrow (A) to decrease
the backlash, turn it towards the direction indi-
cated by the arrow (B) to increase it.
The unladen travel (V) must be of at least 10 mm
(0.39 in.) before starting with the clutch discon-
nection.
Another registration possibility is offered by the
tensioner (3) placed on the motor right part.
- Loosen the nuts (4) and work on the tensioner
(3).
If, after registration, the clutch slides under load or
drags even when is disengaged, it must be disas-
sembled for the appropriate verifications.
