5. operaTion

5.1. Manual operation

5.1.1. Mode / AUT
Two operational modes, manual or automatic, depending on the front selector position.
MODE "AUT"
The front selector is on "AUT"
• for ATyS 3e, I, 0 and II commands are
active
• for ATyS 6, "AUT" mode is active
• it is not possible to insert the handle
• it is not possible to pull the padlocking
mechanism

5.1.2. emergency operation

All ATyS products can be manually operated (emergency or
maintenance operation).
Turn the front selector on manual position and insert the handle
in the specific hole.
Verify product position before any manual
operation.
Remove the handle from the product before
changing the selector position to AUT.
5.1.3. padlocking
It is possible to padlock the standard product in 0 position.
Padlocking in position I or II is optional. Turn the front selector
on manual position and pull the padlo cking mechanism to insert
up to 3 padlocks (8 mm maximum).
Padlocking only possible in manual mode,
handle not in place.
