Alternative installation methods
WARNING Electrocution
All 4 locking tabs on the programming unit must click into
place. The locking tabs must be complete and undam-
aged. If the programming unit is not inserted correctly,
user protection against contact with live components
cannot be ensured.
f Insert the connecting cable plug of the programming unit

into the PCB (see chapter "Commissioning / Initial start-up").
f Hook the appliance cover in at the bottom. Pivot the appli-
f
ance cover up to the back panel.
f Secure the appliance cover.
f
f Fit the cover onto the appliance cover.

You can restrict the maximum inlet temperature by installing a
central thermostatic valve.

14.14 Pairing the mini wireless remote control
The mini wireless remote control can be paired via the program-
ming unit; see chapter "Settings / Service / Wireless / Connect
other wireless subscribers".
However, if the programming unit is used outside the appliance (in
accessories), open the appliance and proceed as described below
to pair the mini wireless remote control.

active
f To start pairing the mini wireless remote control, briefly

press the button. The yellow LED starts to flash.
f Now press the plus (+) button on the mini wireless remote
f
control for 3 seconds. The red LED on the mini wireless
remote control indicates that a pairing telegram is being
sent.
Once pairing is completed successfully, the yellow LED goes out. If
pairing was unsuccessful, the LED continues to flash until pairing
mode ends (30 seconds in total).
