OPERATION
Troubleshooting
Problem
The appliance does not respond to the
mini wireless remote control; the red LED
illuminates on the mini wireless remote
control.
The appliance does not respond to the
mini wireless remote control; the red LED
only illuminates faintly on the mini wire-
less remote control, or not at all.
The temperature cannot be increased.
"MAX" appears in the status bar.
The flow rate is too low.
The water temperature varies.
The wrong function is called up when you
tap the display.
There is nothing showing on the touch-
screen or it only responds to user input
slowly.
The programming unit restarts auto-
matically, or restarts when the fuses are
switched off and back on. System mes-
sages appear on the touchscreen in place
of the STIEBEL ELTRON logo.
The temperature cannot be adjusted with
the touch wheel.
Problems specific to DHE Con-
nect
You cannot adjust the volume via the
touch wheel.
The internet radio or weather display is
unavailable.

Cause
The mini wireless remote control is not
paired with the appliance.
The mini wireless remote control battery is
empty.
Maximum temperature limiting is enabled.
ECO function is enabled.
The wellness shower program is enabled
Display not calibrated correctly.
Programming unit malfunction.
The appliance has an internal monitoring
and repair mode, which is executed auto-
matically in the event of programming unit
errors.
The "Temperature" function has not been set
in the touch wheel menu.
Cause
The "Volume" function has not been set in
the touch wheel menu.
The WLAN reception is too weak.
The WLAN connection is not set up.
Remedy
Pair the mini wireless remote control again.
Replace the battery.
Disable the maximum.
Disable the ECO function by tapping the symbol once.
Disable the wellness shower program.
Calibrate the display (see chapter "Function descriptions", "Settings / Pro-
gramming unit / Calibrate touchscreen").
Isolate the appliance from the voltage supply for 20 seconds.
The appliance restarts automatically after the repair. You may have to
make user-specific settings again.
Set the function for temperature.
Remedy
Set the function for volume.
Check the signal strength in the status bar. Use a repeater to improve sig-
nal strength if necessary.
Set up the WLAN connection.
