2. Intended use

• Attachment devices must be used
exclusively by competent or qualified
persons.
• The attachment device must be examined
(within 12 months) exclusively by a competent
person.
• Round slings may only be used for slinging and
lifting loads in accordance with European and
national standards and guidelines.
• Round slings are used to connect the load to
the load lifting attachment.
• Any use of the round slings other than that
described here is prohibited!
• Lifting of persons is prohibited.
• The lifting of potentially hazardous materials (e. g. mol-
ten metal and acids, glass plates, fissile materials, parts
of nuclear reactors) or components that must be lifted
by the manufacturer using certain specified attachment
devices is prohibited.
• Any change or modification to the round slings is
forbidden!
• Polytex round slings are approved for commercial
