3. Slide the rotor into the stator, taking care not to damage the windings
4. Fit the DE side casing after having applied Loctite 510 sealant to the rebate
5. Fit the NDE side casing after having applied Loctite 510 sealant to the rebates and fitted the
preload spring and compensation ring
6. Once the casings are correctly fitted, tighten down their tie rods to the torques given in the table
below:
7. Grease the seal ring cavities and bearing side gap with the same
bearings themselves, and fit the seal rings
8. Refit the fan and secure it to the shaft with its lock ring, checking that it is securely held.
9. Refit the fan cowling with its fixing bolts.
Make the electrical connections as described above, and if
with a new original one.
The electric motor must only be installed to the driven machine with appropriate tools
designed not to damage the bearings or protective apparatus – never use hammers for
this purpose.

11 DECOMISSIONING THE MOTOR

The motor must only be taken out of service by qualified operators trained in the application of current
laws on safety in the workplace.
Do not dump non-biodegradable products, lubricants and non-ferrous materials (rubber, PVC, resins,
etc.) into the environment.
Dispose of all such materials as stipulated by current environment protection laws.
