Kreatech FISH probes
Specimens
Kreatech FISH probes have been tested on FFPE tissues which were
cut at ~5 µm. Tissue blocks and cut slides should be stored according
to the recommended storage and handling conditions for optimal
results, see Leica website.
Baking can be done either on the BOND using the *Bake and Dewax
protocol or separately in an oven or incubator. Recommended baking
temperature and time is up to 16 hrs at 56 °C, or 60 - 120 min at 80 °C.
Instructions for use: Dilution and Mixing
Kreatech FISH probes are provided in a 10x concentrated format and
are to be combined and diluted to a 1x final concentration using the
BOND Hybridization Solution (AR9037).

# Tests
After dilution of the probe, the mixture is to be transferred to an ap-
propriate BOND container (titration container, 7 ml open container or
30 ml open container, depending on prepared volumes) and registered
as "DNA probe" in the BOND.
When preparing dilutions for titration, ensure that allowance is made
for the dead volume of the appropriate BOND Open Container (for
values refer to your BOND user documentation). The exact number of
tests from a vial depends on the dead volume of the used container
and the calibration of the BOND system.
See Troubleshooting section for use of final concentrations other than 1x.
