FGFR1 (8p11) – XL is optimized to detect copy numbers of the FGFR1
gene region at 8p11.
SE 8 (D8Z1) – XL is optimized to detect copy numbers of the cen-
tromere region of chromosome 8.
Both probes combined are used to detect amplification of the FGFR1
gene at 8p11, with the centromere probe as a control.
