Even though all CLIMASYSTEM units are fully checked and tested in the factory before they are
shipped to site or to dealer's premises, malfunctions can occur. Before applying the general Warranty
Terms, it is imperative to ensure the entity of any damage or malfunction and to determine its causes.
Below is a list of the more frequent causes of damages or malfunction that occur as a result of
inadequate care after the units have left the factory. It is a good idea to check these before installing or
running the units.
• Breakage of the capillary tubes and of the pressure switch connections due to rough handling or
excessive vibrations during transport.
• Breakage of the piping within the refrigeration circuit as a result of rough handling on site.
• Loosened connections due to lack of maintenance.
• Clogged or dirty filters due to lack of start-up maintenance causing inadequate function of the
refrigeration circuit.
• Dirt, particles, objects, etc. that have fallen into the cochlea of the fans.
• Incorrect fan motor current, resulting from a discordance between required available pressure
and actual pressure drop, or resulting from the fans being made to run with their front panel
open.

• Contactors that do not close properly and remain noisy as a result of dirt or other deposits during
storage of unit on site.
• Activation of high pressure switch as a result of incorrect installation of the condenser or as a
result of low air-flow or as a result of excessive refrigerant gas load.
• Activation of low pressure switch because the A/C unit is operating with insufficient refrigerant
gas, a low air-flow (dirty or clogged filters), or because the air on the coil has lower
temperature than the original design temperature.
