Check that the relay switches, that control the delay/time interval of the starts of the compressors,
have been set for at least 3 minutes between starts in order to avoid that a compressor starts too
frequently.
It is also a good idea that the different relay switches, in units with more than one compressor, be set
with different time intervals in order to avoid compressors staring together. For those air-conditioners
that are equipped with the microprocessor controller, the delay/time-interval has been already set in
the control itself and the time delays are indicated in the specific manual for the microprocessor
control.
The start of the compressors will provoke the start of the condenser fan(s) once consent has been
given by the High Pressure switch or the Modulating Control of the condenser.
The settings on the pressure regulators are normally factory set. To change or readjust these, the

electronic 02'8/$7,1* control of condensing pressure: act on the transducer in a clockwise
direction to increase the condensing pressure and anti-clockwise to reduce the condensing
pressure. See Fig.10/11 for indications as to the various types of condensing pressure
regulators that are normally used.
Check that the input power of the compressors is lower than that indicated on the identification plate,
and check also that the refrigerant gas load is complete.

The A/C units will operate only if the settings, with respect to ambient conditons, require it, regardless
of whether the units are equipped with a microprocessor controller or a plain electrical control.
Once the units have been started-up, check that the input power of the various components do not
exceed design values.
Be sure that the safety thermostats for the electric heaters have been set at about 70-80° C.
The humidifiers must be supplied with normal, domestic tap water, and the tubes should be of
plastic or PVC (RILSAN) with a diameter of 6mm. Pressure should be contained between 1,5 and 5
bar.
The supply water to the humidifier should not be treated chemically or otherwise.
1% When connecting tubes to the humidifier, make sure that no dirt or other material remains in the
tubes. Ideally, after the unit has been started-up and made to operate for a little while, remove the
solenoid valve of the humidifier, drain a little water, clean the base and the valve as well as the filter in
order to ensure that no material or dirt has remained within the tubes (otherwise this could damage the
valve and the valve-base and cause leakage).
For further information regarding the humidifier refer to the specific manual and the indications of the
humidifier manufacturer.
