3.1 Removal of the packaging

Remove the wooden create (only for the version with
automatic door) and the shrink film.
Remove the counterweight secured with a strap to
the top of the appliance.
Remove the packaging containing the parts of the
covering from the pallet.
Remove the screws that secure the appliance's feet
to the pallet (Fig. 3.1) and remove it.
Dismantling and disposal of materials may also be
entrusted to third parties, provided that companies
who are authorised to recover and dispose of the
materials in question are always used.
Always follow the regulations in force in the country
in which the appliance is being used for disposal of
materials and possibly for the disposal report.

3.2 Transportation

Make sure that the lifting carriage has a
payload higher than the weight of the appliance
to be lifted. The full responsibility of the lifting
of loads lies on the person handling the lifting
equipment.
There are special connections in the bottom part
of the product used to mount the wheels (Fig. 3.2).
For wheel mounting see the installation manual
"Wheels kit".
The wheels are not supplied standard but can
be purchased separately.
Ensure wood or timber floors are properly
protected in order to prevent the weight of
the appliance from damaging them during
movement.
During lifting, avoid jerking or abrupt movements.
Pay attention to overbalancing.

3.3 Checking the support surface

Check the load capacity of the floor slab.
If the floor slab is not able to support the weight of
the fireplace stove, proceed with the installation of
suitable plates in steel (A - Fig. 3.3a) or a cement
base (A - Fig. 3.3b) with arc-welded grid 10x10x6
(B - Fig. 3.3b) to distribute the weight.
For the dimensions of the plates and cement
base, contact a qualified technician.
The fireplace stove should be installed with the fire
box floor about 40-50 cm off the floor to facilitate use.
To level the fireplace stove, use the special-purpose
adjustment screws on the feet of the stove itself.
