FRYING TIMES

The times cited in the table are guide values only. These times can change de-
pending on the quantity and volume of food to be fried. For frozen foods you
should set the temperature 10°C higher than specified in the table. The frying
time is extended for frozen foods. Also comply with the manufacturer's instruc-
tions on the packaging of the frozen food. Do not fry fatty foods, such as sausage.
For health reasons we recommend that you first thaw frozen foods, and then fry
them at max. 175°C to reduce the development of acrylamide. If you fill the ap-
pliance with several layers of food, you must turn these layers more often and
this extends the preparation time. If there is just one layer of meat, turning once
suffices. Always use the lowest temperature setting if you want to use the appli-
ance to thaw food. If you want to warm food up, set the temperature to 120°C.
For example, to 140°C you can crisp up buns for approx. 5-10 minutes.
