6.6 FUEL ___________________________________________________________________________
Never remove the fuel cap from the fuel tank, or add fuel, when the engine is running or while the engine is hot.
Do not smoke when handling fuel. Never fill or drain the fuel tank indoors.
Do not spill fuel and clean-up spilled fuel immediately.
Never handle or store fuel containers near an open flame or any device that may create sparks and ignite the fuel or
fuel vapors.
Be sure to reinstall and tighten fuel cap securely.
See the engine manufacturer's Owner's Manual for
detailed service information.
Handle fuel with care - it is highly flammable. Use an
approved container, the spout must fit inside the fuel filler
neck. Avoid using cans and funnels to transfer fuel
Fill the fuel tank to within 25 mm below the filler neck.
Gasoline Engines:
1. Use clean, fresh, regular grade, unleaded gasoline
minimum 85 octane.
2. Do not use hi-test gasoline or an oil-gasoline
mixture. When using blended fuel, do not use a
blend with more than 10% ethanol.
3. Under no circumstances should you use a blend
with methanol.
4. Replace in-line fuel filter yearly. Drain fuel tank or
close fuel shut off valve before replacing fuel filter.
Check fuel lines and clamps every 50 hours.
Replace fuel lines and clamps at the first sign of
damage.
6.7 MUFFLER AND EXHAUST ___________________________________________________

Exhaust fumes contain carbon monoxide that is toxic
and can be fatal when inhaled.
Never operate an engine without proper ventilation.
