Remove residue from the frying process
. Turn off appliance and let it cool down.
. Fill the bratt pan with approximately 5 litres of warm water. Add rinsing agent and vinegar cleaner
and clean with a cleaning brush or with a stainless steel pan cleaner.
. Tip out the residue from cleaning.
. Remove dark spots on the surface with vinegar cleaner and stainless steel pan cleaner.
. Thoroughly rinse the bratt pan with water and rub dry.
. Spray the bratt pan using food quality maintenance emulsion. Distribute the cream cleaner evenly
with a kitchen towel.
. Only for extended pauses during operation: In order to prevent the frying surface from becoming
corroded, apply a thin film of edible fat or oil to the frying surface. Allow the edible fat or oil to
burn in for a period of approx. 10 minutes at 200°C. During the heating process, switch on the
exhaust hood or well ventilate the room.

Remove lime
. Turn off appliance and let it cool down.
. Fill up the bratt pan with vinegar and water at a ratio of 1:1 (1 part vinegar to 1 part water). Boil
briefly and allow to react for 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the limescale deposit.
. Tip out the residue from cleaning.
. Thoroughly rinse the bratt pan with clear water and rub dry.
. Spray the bratt pan using food quality maintenance emulsion. Distribute the cream cleaner evenly
with a kitchen towel.

Clean stainless steel surfaces
. Clean stainless steel surfaces with grease-dissolving cleaner or a special stainless steel cleaner.
. Wash or rinse the cleaned surfaces thoroughly with clean water and dry with a soft cloth.

Errors and remedies
