Water connection (option)
● Observe the regulations issued by the local water supply company.
● Rinse through the water pipes in the building system and supply hoses before connecting.
● The appliance must be connected to an easily accessible water stopcock.
● Connect to a hot water supply of no more than 50°C.
● Water pressure: min. 200 kPa (2 bar) dynamic, maximum 600 kPa (6 bar) static..
● In order to compensate for pressure fluctuations and to avoid spraying when filling, fit a pressure
reducing valve locally and set to 200 kPa.
● If water hardness is greater than 10° dKH, we recommend fitting a water softener in the water
supply.
● No connecting pipes made from galvanized iron or similar material may be used between the wa
ter softener and the appliance, otherwise there is a risk of corrosion!
● Observe the installation and user manuals for the water softener connected.
● The supply hose may not be kinked or crushed!
● Check that all connections are watertight.

Service
● Have the appliance regularly inspected and serviced. Maintenance tasks are, for example, safety,
function and leak checks.
● The safety equipment must be checked by an appraiser for serviceability depending on the load
ing, however, a minimum of once a year. The result of this check must be documented and re
tained.
● Installation, service and repair tasks must only be carried out by gas specialists.
● Use only genuine accessories and spare parts!
● We recommend negotiating a service contract with Customer Service.
● The control of the bratt pan has an hour counter for the maintenance interval. Depending on the
temperatures used, a note appears when maintenance is required. Displays, postponing the note,
refer to Page 41 Chapter 5.9. After maintenance by the customer service department, the hour
counter must be reset.
