• Maintenance, apart from cleaning and the replacement of UVC tubes, must be
performed by skilled personnel.
• Disconnect the cable from the net before cleaning and maintenance.
• Do not stretch the cable and keep it away from sources of heat, oil and sharp parts.
• In case the cable is damaged do not use the equipment and replace the cable with an
original spare part.
• Do not introduce extraneous matters inside the equipment.
• The equipment can be connected only to outlets with grounding.
• Do not use extensions to connect the equipment to the net.
STERILAIR employs short waves ultraviolet radiations at 253.7 nanometres to obtain
a germicidal/antimicrobial effect.
This radiation is known as UVC.
It is invisible to the human eye and it is dangerous for the skin and particularly for the
eyes.
The machine is equipped with an internal stopping device to prevent accidental
expositions.
It has also been tested to prevent the dispersion of the chamber's radiations.
DO NOT TRY TO REMOVE THE SAFETY PROTECTION OR TO PERFORM AN
UNAUTHORIZED MAINTENANCE, IF YOU HAVE DOUBTS CONSULT THE
ASSISTANCE CENTRE.
A well-done maintenance is essential to preserve the equipment's efficiency.
Only spare parts: ORIGINAL UVC NEONS and FILTERS must be used to preserve the
equipment's efficiency and safety.
Neon have a 12 months maximum efficiency and must be systematically replaced within
this time interval.
