Adjusting the Back Angle


For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 6.
1. Remove the rear wheels. Refer to Removing/Installing Rear Wheels on page 58.
2. If equipped with flip back armrests, remove the flip back armrests.
Refer to Removing/Installing Flipback Armrests on page 54.
3. Loosen mounting screw (A) and then mounting screw (B).
 Back angle adjustment range (C) is 6° forward and
15° back.
Use the indent (D) as the angle indicator when
rotating the back cane.
4. Rotate the back cane (E) to desired angle.
5. Retighten mounting screw (B) and then mounting screw (A).

Back canes MUST be adjusted to same back angle.
1. Repeat STEPS 1-5 for remaining back cane.
