2.6 Removing/Installing Flipback Armrests


For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 6.
Removing Flip Back Armrest
1. Place armrest (A) in position for transferring. Refer to Using
Flipback Armrest. on page 97.
WARNING
When performing STEP 2, ensure to pull straight
back, otherwise damage to retaining washer (B)
may occur.
2. Pull bottom of armrest straight back toward rear of wheelchair and
disengage arm clip (C) from bushing (D) as you rotate arm forward.
 Rotating the arm forward will make it easier to
remove.
Installing Flip Back Armrest
1. Align arm clip (C) with bushing (D).
WARNING
When performing STEP 2, ensure to push straight
forward, otherwise damage to retaining washer
(B) may occur.
2. Push bottom of armrest forward onto bushing until armrest locks
in place.
