Adjusting the Height Adjustable Back

For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 5 on page 72.

There are two height ranges of back canes available - 14-18-inches (7° bend 15-19 inch straight back canes), the following
steps refer to 15 - 19 inch.
Both back canes must be positioned to the same adjustment holes.
1. Remove the back height adjustment screw (A) and locknut (B) that secures the back cane (C) to the back cane support (D).
2. Reposition the back cane to one of five height adjustment holes (E) in the back cane support.
3. Reinstall the height adjustment screw and locknut and securely tighten.
4. Repeat STEPS 1-3 for remaining back cane.
