Removing the burners
•
Make sure that the grill is switched off and has cooled down completely.
•
Make sure that all control knobs are set to "•" and the gas cylinder is turned off as well.
1. Lift up the grates.
2. Lift up the heat distributors.
3. Release the clip at the back.
4. Move the burner at the back to the right and push it towards
the valves. Then lift up the burner and take it out.
5. Clean the burner as described.
6. Refitting is the reverse of the removal procedure.
Winter
Over the winter months the grill should be stored in a dry, protected
place.
Clean and dry the grates and rub a little pork fat or cooking oil into
them to prevent rusting. Wrap them in paper and store them in a
dry and well-ventilated place.
•
If you have any questions or are uncertain about anything, seek
advice from your gas appliance supplier or sales point.
•
Regularly oil the metal parts (e.g. hinge).
•
After a long period of storage, and in any case at least once du-
ring the barbecue season, the gas hose should be checked for
cracks, kinks and other damage. If the gas hose is damaged, it
must be replaced at once.
Using for the first time after removal from storage
When you first use the gas grill again at the start of the barbe-
cue season or after an extended period:
•
Carefully read through the instruction manual again.
•
Check all gas valves, burner pipes and joints for any faults.
•
Check that all burners are correctly attached.
•
Check whether there is gas in the cylinder.
•
Check the gas grill for any leaks using a soap-and-water solution.
•
Turn all control knobs (valves) to "•" and connect the gas. Before use, make sure that all grates and hot-
plates have been cleaned.
•
If you follow those tips, your RÖSLE gas grill will give you many years of reliable service.
Leakingjoints
With any outdoor appliance made of steel, occasional spots of rust on the surface are to be expected. If you
always keep your grill covered over, clean and dry then you will already have gone a long way towards pre-
venting rust.
A few tips:
•
The cooking surfaces (including heat distributors) should be kept clean and dry after barbecuing, espe-
cially after barbecuing with marinades. You should rub a little oil into the cooking surfaces after use.
•
Do not leave your grill standing out in the rain.
•
Do not store away your grill when it is wet. Carefully dry it first.
•
Regularly remove the protective hood, both in summer and winter, so that the grill is aired out and any
accumulated moisture can be dispersed.
•
Slight surface rusting can easily be removed with a cloth (or aluminium foil) soaked in white wine vi-
negar or with a proprietary rust remover.
•
Chipped enamel can be treated with touching-up paint to cover over the bare metal exposed.
