• Remove excess fat from the grill to prevent fat fires, as laid down in the routine maintenance. That also
includes the Flavorizer and fat drawer.
• Make sure that the slots at the back of the hood are always clear. Do not use lava stones or charcoal on
this grill.
• To avoid the risk of serious burns, you should never bend over the open grill or touch the grill grate with
your hands. Only touch the handles, not the surfaces.
If uncontrolled jets of flame occur, take the food out of the flames and close the lid until the
flames subside.
Do not place the protective cover over the grill until it has completely cooled down.
Never cover over the entire cooking area when the grill is hot. Allow at least 5 cm of space
at the sides and back of the grill casing.
When barbecuing, always wear barbecue gloves.
Wait until the grill has cooled down until moving it.
Do not make any changes to the appliance.
Damaged appliances or accessories must not continue to be used.
The manufacturer accepts no liability whatsoever for damage caused by incorrect, careless
or negligent use or use other than intended.
The manufacturer accepts no responsibility whatsoever for damage occurring during use of
the appliance or for complaints from third parties. Not for public or commercial use.
• Whenever using this grill, make sure it is at least 1.5 m away from any combustible or heat-sensitive ma-
terials. Combustible materials include, for example (but not only), wood, treated wood floors, wooden
decking and wooden porches or patios. Do not store any combustible objects under your grill. Do not
leave any packed food on or near the grill.
• When cooking food and when handling the thermometer or lid, you should always wear barbecue
gloves.
• When lighting or using the grill, do not wear garments with loose hanging sleeves.
• Protect yourself against sparks and splashes of hot fat. To protect your clothes, we recommend that you
wear a barbecue apron.
• Always place the grill on a stable, level surface protected from the wind.
• Never try to check whether the grill or grates are hot by touching them.
• Do not pour water into the grill to suppress flames.
• Use grilling tools with long, heat-resistant handles.
• Keep the grilling surface free from flammable gases and liquids (e.g. fuel, alcohol, etc.) and other com-
bustible materials.
• Keep power cable away from hot surfaces of the grill and well used areas.
• The consumption of alcohol and/or prescription or non-prescription medication may impair the ability of
the user to properly assemble and safely operate the grill.
• This appliance is not intended to be used by people (including children) with limited physical, sensory
or mental capabilities or without the necessary experience and/or knowledge unless they are supervised
by a person responsible for their safety or are instructed by such a person on how the appliance is to be
used.
• The RÖSLE grill is not intended for assembly or use in or on caravans, camper vans, motor homes or
boats.
• Only genuine manufacturer's spare parts may be used.
• Under no circumstances should you use flammable liquids for lighting the appliance. Ignoring this in-
struction may result in shooting flames and/or explosions.
• Do not use sharp or pointed objects to clean the grill grates. Otherwise the upper surface may be dama-
ged.
• Do not move the grill over high ledges/steps or very uneven surfaces.
• The grill must be thoroughly cleaned regularly.
• Do not make any changes to components which have been sealed by the manufacturer or its representa-
tive.
