Environmental damage is imminent! Store and transport the device over long
distances without liquids, especially when shipping. Always drain liquids in an
environmentally friendly manner. Use a suitable base and container!
• Set the device to OFF and store the device in normal operating position.
• Allow the device to cool down. See also "stop engine" p.24.
• If you do not use the device, place it in such a way that no person is endangered.
• Disconnect all consumers from the device.
• To store the device, disconnect the battery cables at the terminal, fig.24.
• Store the device under cover in a non-corrosive environment.
• Store the device so that it is kept away from children.
• Keep the device away from rain, wetness and humidity.
• Never transport the device in vehicles over bad roads with diesel in the tank. Diesel
could leak.
• Never leave vehicles with device filled with diesel in the tank in the blazing sun.
• Never operate the device in vehicles.
• Secure the device in vehicles against moving and rolling away with belts.
