Oil level protection
If the oil level in the unit falls below a certain level, the oil level warning light (8), p.13,
lights up. Shortly afterwards, the built-in oil level fuse automatically switches off the
engine. This is to protect the unit. You must check the oil level before each use. See
Measure oil level page 17.
Check for loss of oil and fuel and check fittings
• Check the fuel lines and oil reservoir for leaks and oil and fuel loss before each use.
• Check all fittings of the device before each use.
• Tighten the fittings if needed.
Clean oil filter
• Check the air filter before each use, clean or replace if necessary.
• Proceed as described on the following page (fig.1 1 to fig.16.)
• Knock out the elements on a flat surface.
Device damage threatens! Never use solvent-based cleaning agents or gasoline
for cleaning. Knocking out only!
