Never turn the dipstick into the thread to read the oil level. This leads to an incorrect
measurement result.
Top up with oil.
• Fill with engine oil before firdt startup.
• Use 15W-40 four stroke engine oil.
• Perform the first engine oil change after approximately 20 hours of operation, with the
engine warm at operating temperature. See "Maintenance schedule" p.27.
• Then change the engine oil every 150 hours with the engine warm.
• Unscrew the oil plug. See fig.4 previous page.
• Fill in oil slowly through a funnel up to a filling quantity of 1.65L.
• Finally, check the oil level. See Measuring the oil "level "on page 25.
Fill oil to 1.65L during initial commissioning, even if there is residual oil in the device.
For a long engine life, regularly change the oil.
