Before carrying out any adjustment, maintenance or conversion work on the
device, turn the ignition key to OFF and remove the ignition key.
Device damage threatens! For the discharge of static charges, ground the hous-
ing of the device.
Set up the device
• Place the device on the wheels (6), p. 13, on a flat, stable surface.
• Keep a minimum distance of three metres from buildings.
• Only install the device in well-ventilated areas.
The surface must be such that no fuel or lubricant can get into the soil.
Grounding
• Connect one side of the earthing cable to the earth terminal (12) P.13 on the control
panel (4) and the other end to an external earth, e.g. a rod earth on the other side.
Prepare the battery
• Connect the battery. First connect the red cable for the red positive terminal and then
the black cable for the black negative terminal.
• Never swap!
• Mount the battery. See fig. 3.
• Use the battery mounting kit. See Fig. 4.
