with the test weight. In the event of any deviations maintenance or calibration must be
carried out.
If the equipment is not functioning normally, it is probably because it has been
damaged. In this case, it must be returned to a service centre authorised by Soehnle
Professional.
Note for the version with rechargeable battery:
The function of the installed batteries should be checked periodically. If necessary the
battery must be replaced by trained service personnel. A suitable tool is necessary for
this.

5.6 Warranty / liability

We refer to our general terms and conditions and the valid warranty conditions, see
www.soehnle-professional.com.
Please keep the original packaging in case a return shipment is necessary.

5.7 Disposal of batteries

Batteries that contain hazardous substances are identified by a symbol
showing a crossed-out waste bin and should not be disposed of as normal
household waste. As a consumer, you are required by law to recycle used
batteries. Your old batteries can be handed in as special waste at the public
recycling points in your community, or anywhere that batteries of a similar kind are
sold. These symbols are found on batteries containing hazardous substances: Pb =
battery contains lead, Cd = battery contains cadmium, Hg = battery contains mercury.
