Add a little bit of water to obtain a softer rice and decrease the dose to obtain an
harder one.

For some kinds of rice (for example for different types of rice combinations, for Ar-
borio rice or short grain rice) it is necessary to add more water for the cooking. To
obtain optimal results, adapt the doses according to the cooked rice type. See the
instructions on the packing or consult the brown rice cooking chart.

Since brown rice needs more water, on the lid some water bubbles containing starch
could form during cooking. For an optimal result, wash rice before cooking and keep
it warm for 20 minutes after it, in order to absorb the remaining moisture.

Tasty rice

Prepare rice in the pan (4) following the previous instructions.

Replace water with the same quantity of chicken, bovine, fish or vegetables soup.
Half of the water quantity can be replace with apple, orange or pineapple juice.
Sweet rice

Prepare rice in the pan (4) following the previous instructions.

Replace half of the necessary water quantity with apple, orange or pineapple juice.
To not cook rice with milk or cream is advised, as there's the risk of burning it on the
bottom of the extractable cooking pot.
Saffron rice

Add 1/4 teaspoon of saffron powder or 2 saffron threads for 2 water cups. Please
refer to white rice cooking charts.

Mix well.
