Loading the rotor
Check the rotor for firm seating.
The rotors must be loaded symmetrically. The centrifuge containers have to be distributed evenly on all rotor
positions. For authorised combinations see Chapter "Anhang/Appendix, Rotoren und Zubehör/Rotors and
accessories".
Rotor is evenly loaded
For the haematocrit measurement the capillaries are always filled up to 75%.
When loading the rotor, no liquid may enter the rotor or the centrifuging chamber.
Installation:
Place the rotor vertically onto the motor shaft (A) and press it
downwards. The motor shaft dog (B) has to fit in the rotor slot (C).
The alignment of the groove is labelled on the rotor (D).
Screw the fixing nut (E) with the supplied hex. pin driver on the motor
shaft (A) by turning in a clockwise direction and tighten it.
The fixing nut (E) must always be firmly tightened to the
motor shaft (A).
Check the rotor to make sure it is seated firmly.
Put the lid onto the rotor and press it down at the handle as far as the

lid clicks in.

Removal:
Press the knob (F) in the handle of the lid downwards,
simultaneously pull the outer ring (G) of the handle and remove the

lid from the rotor.
Unscrew the fixing nut (E) with the supplied hex. pin driver by turning
in a counter clockwise direction, and remove it.
Lift up the rotor from the motor shaft (A).
Rotor is not evenly loaded
