2.3. USING THE ADJUSTABLE CLAMPING HANDLE
Adjustable clamping handles can be
tightened by two methods: either by
rotating the handle clockwise until it no
longer turns easily, or by using the semi-
ratcheting function of the handle . The
semi-ratcheting function is particularly
useful when space is limited . The
operating button is depressed, the lever
lifted (up) and the handle is rotated as far
as possible . Releasing the handle returns
the lever to the neutral position, from
which it can be pushed back to the start
position for the next round of tightening
via rotation with a lifted lever .
2.4. POSITIONING THE PUMP DRIVE
The positioning of the backup pump drive can be set along two axes . Either
the hinge can be adjusted and secured using the adjustable clamping
handle, or the backup pump drive can be rotated on the mounting pin and
fixed in place using the securing screw . After the desired final arrangement
of the backup pump drive and the holder have been achieved, the
corresponding screws on the holder and backup pump drive must be
securely tightened [figure
2.5. REMOVING THE BACKUP PUMP DRIVE
Before the backup pump drive can be attached to the console (e .g . onto
the compact holder), it must be removed from the Holder for Backup
Pump Drive . To do this, loosen the securing screw on the backup pump
drive handle and slide the backup pump drive off of the mounting pin .
