2.1. SETUP
CAUTION Before attaching the Holder for Backup Pump Drive, make
sure the mounting pole is stable .
Attach the Holder for Backup Pump Drive to a pole (e .g . IV pole) in an
orientation that ensures that enough space for the backup pump drive is
available . Make certain that the clamping screw is tightened firmly so that
the holder cannot be moved on the pole .
2.2. MOUNTING THE BACKUP PUMP DRIVE
After the Holder for Backup Pump Drive is
securely attached to the pole, the backup
pump drive can be mounted on the
notched pin of the holder .
To do this, first loosen the securing screw
on the bottom end of the backup pump
drive handle . This allows the socket
located at the bottom end of the handle
to be slid completely over the pin of
the holder . The securing screw is then
tightened into the radial groove of the
mounting pin . To remove the Holder
for Backup Pump Drive, loosen the
clamping screw .
