Turn the SHUTTLE ring clockwise.
@ The START time hour indication ® will blink.
Turn the JOG dial to enter the START time hour (be sure to
select the correct AM/PM setting), then turn the SHUTTLE
ring clockwise.
@ The START time minute indication © will blink.
Turn the JOG dial to enter the START time minute, then turn
the SHUTTLE ring clockwise.
@ The STOP time hour indication © will blink.
Turn the JOG dial to enter the STOP time hour (be sure to
select the correct AM/PM setting), then turn the SHUTTLE
ring clockwise.
@ The STOP time minute indication @ will blink.
Turn the JOG dial to enter the STOP time minute, then turn
the SHUTTLE ring clockwise.
@ The channel position ®) will blink.
Turn the JOG dial to enter the channel number (select "AU"
for AUX), then turn the SHUTTLE ring clockwise.
e The recording speed @ will blink.
Turn the JOG dial to enter the recording speed.
e SP for Standard Play, EP for Extended Play.
Turn the SHUTTLE ring clockwise.
@ The transfer-ready mark @ will appear and blink.
e |f correction
is required,
turn
the SHUTTLE
ring
counterclockwise until the intended position blinks and
enter new data with the JOG dial.
@ Now you can advance to the next program, if necessary,
by turning the JOG dial.
e After all necessary programs have been preset, proceed
to the next step.
Direct the remote control to the recorder's Remote Sensor
window and press the TRANS button.
@ The programmed data will be loaded in one of the VCR's
memories (1 — 8), the vacant one of the smallest number.
e@ When the programmed data is successfully transferred
to the VCR's memories, a steady 2-second beep will be
heard with the entered program appearing on the display
panel for 5 seconds.
Otherwise, when data transfer is
not successful,
two short, intermittent beeps will be
heard with the clock display blinking for 5 seconds.
@ Invalid channel
numbers
will not be rejected when
entered in the remote control's memory data. However,
they will be rejected when transferred, and the clock
display on the display panel will blink.
Recheck the
programmed data.
@ |f all program memories are full, transmission will not take
place.
e@ When this happens, check the VCR's memories
on-
screen
and cancel unnecessary
programs.
For this
purpose, use the on-screen Menu system.
e After having cleared
the VCR's
program
memory,
transfer the data once again.
Press the TIMER button.
@ The TIMER indicator on the display panel will light. (For
error indications, see page 39.)
