TV CODE button
To set the TV signal code for controlling the basic functions
of TVs other than a JVC. (See page 15.)
@) SP/EP select button
Functions same as VCR's @.
@ SOUND MENU button
To select the sound effect mode between MUSIC and
THEATER. Functions same as VCR's @.
@® AUDIO MONITOR button
Selects the audio track(s) to be output: Hi-Fi, normal, or a
mixture of the two. (See page 21.)
INDEX button '
To engage the Index Search mode. (See page 41.)
@® MARK button
While in the Record or Play mode, press to put an additional
index code on the tape.
ERASE button
While in the Play mode, press to erase an unnecessary
index code.
'@ ENTER/ADD button
@ To obtain a 5-second on-screen mode check display.
@ To store a channel during manual channel setting.
@ To instantly tune in the channel selected with 10-key
input.
INTRO button
To engage the Intro Search mode. (See page 41.)
GO-TO button
To engage the Realtime Go-To mode. (See page 40.)
