SKIP/BLANK SEARCH button
@ Press while in the Play mode, to zip through unwanted
tape segments. (See page 31.)

The tape will automatically stop at the beginning
of a non-recorded section, and the remaining tape time
will be automatically displayed in hours and minutes on
the display panel. (See page 33.)

POWER (VIDEO) button
To turn the recorder's power on or off.
TV MONITOR button
Press during tape playback to monitor the TV broadcast
being received by the recorder's built-in tuner, or from a
connected external video source (in the AUX mode).
EJECT button
To eject the cassette.
TIMER button
Functions same as VCR's @.
@® TRANS button
Press to transfer the data held in the remote control's timer
memory
to the recorder.
The clock data can also be
transferred.

CANCEL button
To cancel the programmed data in the' remote control's
timer memory.

CH/SET.SELECT button and indicator
Press this button first when you are going to use the
JOG/SHUTTLE controls for purposes other than searching.
The indicator will light, and will automatically turn off after
about one minute if the JOG/SHUTTLE controls are left
unused.
SHUTTLE ring (outer control)
Functions same as VCR's @.
JOG dial (inner control)
Functions same as VCR's @.
JOG/SHUTTLE button and indicator
Press this button first when you are going to use the
JOG/SHUTTLE controls for search. The indicator will light,
and will automatically turn off after about one minute if the
JOG/SHUTTLE controls are left unused.
