Proceed as follows:
1. Push the button FUNC (I) twice. The indicator for area addition is
shown at the top of the display.
2. Activate the target laser (B) by pushing the button ON (C).
3. Push the button ON to measure the first side length of the first
surface. This side length must be the same for all surfaces. The
measurement is shown in the upper line.
4. Activate the target laser by pushing the button ON.
5. Push the button ON to measure the second side length of the first
surface. The measurement is shown in the middle line. The area of
the first surface is shown in the bottom line.
6. Activate the target laser by pushing the button ON.
7. Push the button ON to measure the remaining side length of the
second surface. This side cannot be part of the first surface. The
measurement is shown in the middle line.
8. The sum of both areas is shown in the bottom line.
9. Follow the previous steps to add further surfaces as needed.
