Manage Bluetooth Devices
The VB1 can be paired with one Bluetooth device at a time. For instance,
it cannot be paired with one device using the Videobar Mobile app and
another device for calls or audio playback.
Pairing a Bluetooth Device with VB1
The Videobar Mobile app pairs your Bluetooth device with the VB1 using
Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). The app will automatically "discover" VB1s
nearby.
To pair a Bluetooth device with the VB1 using the Videobar Mobile app,
open the app and select the desired VB1. The Bluetooth indicator on the
front panel of the VB1 will light solid white when connected. (See Videobar
Mobile App (Page 26) for more information.)
To pair a Bluetooth device for calls or audio playback:
1. Press the Bluetooth button on the side of the VB1 (or press and hold the
Bluetooth button on the remote control for 3 seconds) to put the VB1 in
its pairing mode. The Bluetooth indicator on the front panel of the VB1
will blink blue.
2. On your Bluetooth device, scan for other available Bluetooth devices
and select the VB1. The Bluetooth indicator on the front panel of the VB1
will light solid white when connected.
Disconnecting a Bluetooth Device from the VB1
The VB1 will not automatically reconnect to a previously paired Bluetooth
device. Once the Bluetooth connection is lost (due to distance, intentional
disconnection, pairing of another device, etc.), you will need to follow the
steps to pair again.
To disconnect a Bluetooth device from the VB1, do one of the following:
Disable the Bluetooth connection on your mobile device.
Press the Bluetooth button on the side of the VB1.
Press and hold the Bluetooth button on the remote control for 3
seconds.
